Premiering August 10th, 2007:
Audiocinema unveils it's 2nd annual AudioCinemaVisualCollective exhibition. AC/VC showcases a diverse mix of Portland and West Coast artists, featuring an array of mediums including, but not limited to: painting, photography, video, sound, installation, and performance. Where artists would typically be limited by space, AudioCinema combines gallery sensibilities with it's 10,000 square foot warehouse charm. The space lends itself to 2 dimensional, installation, and performance works alike with out leaving the viewer feeling crowded or overwhelmed. AC/VC hosts over 25 professional working artists in a unique atmosphere.
AC/VC is an AudioCinema produced event curated by Ilan Laks and Erin Walters. Our mission statement is simple: Build community, culture, and camaraderie in a non-competitive atmosphere.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to P:ear.
Artist preview Thursday, August 9th 7-10pm. Invitation only.
Opening night Friday, August 10th 6-2am. $5 donation.
Saturday and Sunday, August 11th and 12th 12-6pm. Sliding scale donation.
